James Harden’s shape gets mocked by broadcaster

James Harden’s shape gets mocked by broadcaster

Jessica Lane January 13, 2021

The Houston Rockets faced off against the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night, a game that featured James Harden in a not-so-flattering pre-game attire.

The broadcast team couldn’t help but mock the seemingly out of shape former league MVP, which turned out to be quite a hilarious jab.

Volume up for this one:

To be fair, James Harden looked really chunky in his warmers. At this point, the debate on whether or not the eight-time All-Star is currently overweight seems to have been settled.

To make matters worse, Harden had another mediocre performance for the Rockets against the defending champs, finishing with 16 points on 5-of-16 shooting, to go along with one three-pointer, seven rebounds, six assists and a steal in 31 minutes of action.

The Lakers made easy work of Harden and Co., emerging with a 117-100 win at the Toyota Center.

A report recently emerged pertaining to the Rockets’ growing confidence in Harden remaining in Houston. The 31-year-old has made it no secret that he wants out, and he has even listed a rather extensive list of teams he’d like to be traded to.

Nothing has materialized over the past month or so though, with the Rockets’ front office opting to play hardball. For what it’s worth, The Beard seemingly has given up on the team and really wants to be traded this season.

“[We’re] just not good enough … I love this city. I literally have done everything that I can. I mean, this situation is crazy. It’s something that I don’t think can be fixed.”

Houston has had a terrible start to the new season, and Tuesday’s defeat marks their sixth loss in their first nine games. With that said, the Rockets really need to turn things around fast.
